Bulletin Number: PIB-2007-027 Date: 05/08/2007

There is a deadline of June 13, 2007 to order the new seats at the reduced price. Call your dealer if interested.

Kubota Tractor has introduced an improved seat for the B2630, B3030 & BX series tractors. This new seat is a vast improvement over the previous seats in design, comfort and appearance. For a limited time, Kubota Tractor is making the new seats available to dealers at a greatly reduced discount in order to satisfy buyers of tractors who have expressed a desire for a better seat. The new seat has already been incorporated as a running change for new B2630, B3030 & BX tractors starting in mid-May 2007.

Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx is offering the new tractor seat at a price of $45.00 to customers with B2630, B3030 & BX tractors.

It is my understanding that-> The new seat bolts right onto the existing hardware on the tractor and does not require any additional parts. The seat belts mount to the frame that seat attaches to..so they would not be affected.

This price does not include sales tax or shipping cost.

There is a deadline of June 13, 2007 to order the new seats at the reduced price.

Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx will accept advance orders from customers from May 31, 2007 until June 13, 2007 at the reduced price. After June 13, 2007 the cost of the seat will increase to $209.00 or $274.00 depending upon tractor model, plus tax and shipping cost.

We are hoping the new seats will be ready for shipment sometime during July, 2007. However, as always, delays may occur. We do not expect to receive all the seats we order in one shipment, so we will ask our customers to understand that delivery of their new seat will depend upon availability and shipping schedules that are beyond our control.

The information is timely and of importance to 'bota members---good work Barron.

That said, since this board is for the exchange of information and ideas and not for making sales (hey, I'm in business myself), I like that moderators can censor those who want to advertise---for FREE. This type of thing is akin to seeing those advertising yard signs on the side of the road, or a garage sale sign nailed to a light pole. You wanna advertise, pay for it. ....

Since there were no links to buy and no dealer was mentioned the original post seems to provid helpful information to kubota owners. There's enough info there for folks to take to their dealers and save a few bucks. ....

I am having a rough time with the seat on my 24. (got it 2 weeks ago) It has a really large "slope" and if I move the seat as far forward as I can, I just reach the steering wheel if I lean ack. If they made one with a closer to 90 degre angle or one with less slope or mounting holes allowing mounting it closer to the steering wheel it would help. What is the "new seat" like??? ....

Just talked to my Kubota dealer - he checked and says they would have to order at least 6 in order for me to get one of the seats. So I called another 50-mile away dealer and he says they have some on order and will call me back if I can get one.
Hope I'm not screwed again by both lack of notification by Kubota and their 6 item per dealer minimum order.
OH WELL, it was nice to know somebody could get them!

Does anyone have a part # for the new seat? I called my 'Bota dealer today and he didn't know anything about it. I have found him to be very responsive on everything else, so I'm surprised he wasn't aware of this and he couldn't find anything on it. The original post indicates a bulletin #. Is that Kubota's bulletin #?

Brian ....
